How the filter index works
What we index
The index is built from filter catalogue records and their published replacement-part and appliance-fitment cross-references. We normalize capitalization, spaces, and punctuation so differently written versions of a part number can be found together.
Why some part numbers share one page
When multiple part numbers point to the same set of replacement filters in the same category, we treat them as one compatibility group. One representative URL is indexed and the alternate URLs redirect to it. The alternate numbers remain searchable and are shown on the group page.
What we verify
We check that a relationship is present in the source catalogue and that its normalized identifiers are internally consistent. We do not perform laboratory filtration testing, certify contaminant-reduction claims, or guarantee physical fit. Product designs and model revisions can change.
Before you buy
Compare the part number on the old filter, the appliance model, dimensions, connector style, and the seller's current compatibility list. If any of those disagree, use the appliance manufacturer's documentation as the deciding source.
